Hello,

I need to find the position of the first digit in a formula (i.e. 4 in this example)

My formula was originally

='Fix fees'!D45

and regex.Pattern = "\d" would do the trick.

Now, my formula has changed to =ROUND('Fix fees'!D45,2)

and the above expression gives me 452

How can I fix it?

Many thanks!!

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
How about:
VBA Code:
myDigit = CInt(Left(regex.execute(myFormula)(0), 1))
