I am looking to remove two characters from a sting but must have made a mistake somewhere

VBA Code:
        With .Range("A1", .Range("A5000").End(xlUp))
        .Select
            .Replace What:="""", Replacement:=""
            .Replace What:=",", Replacement:="~"
        End With

The ".select" is only there for debugging, it proves the correct range is being worked on.

I want to remove all " and replaced , with ~

examples of data I have

HOSE CONNECTOR 5/16"
ELBOW CONNECTOR (90 1/8"NPT)
SLUG, GUARD

becomes

HOSE CONNECTOR 5/16
ELBOW CONNECTOR (90 1/8NPT)
SLUG~ GUARD

any help appreciated

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
How about
VBA Code:
            .Replace Chr(34), "", xlPart, , , , False, False
            .Replace ",", "~", xlPart, , , , False, False
