Replace duplicates

Hello everybody

Sorry this has being a question before. But I couldn't get any of the answer to work for me.
Haven't really used excel formulas in a while.

I have a file with a bunch of SKU's which are not all unique. Every once in a while it will repeat.
In this case column F has the SKU's.
For example
SSXAU283
SSXAU457
SSXAU283
SSXAU458
SSXAU458
SSXVW155

I would need the duplicate SKU's to be changed slightly add -1, -2, -3 behind it.
Counting up for each time its being found with the original staying the same.

Is there a way to get this done?

Quite possibly your Windows regional/language settings. What happens if you replace commas with semicolons in Fluff's formula?

=F2&IF(COUNTIF(F$2:F2;F2)>1;"-"&COUNTIF(F$2:F2;F2)-1;"")
