Hello everyone!
I'm facing a problem that I'm not able to solve, and I'm also not sure if it's actually possible to solve it.
Given a model in powerPivot I'd like to retrieve a property of a dimension using cube functions. For example let's consider a model that has a seller dimension where every seller has his sellerId and other properties such as name age and so on. My goal is to manually write, for example, a sellerId in a cell and retrieve his name from the model in the next cell.
One possible solution is to create a measure on the model for every property I'd like to retrieve that returns the equivalent of SELECTEDVALUE and then call a CUBEVALUE function with the given id and the measure that return the value for the id. But this solution, aside from being cucumbersome and ugly, is not applicable when you have large dimension with many properties.

Do you know a better way to use cube functions to achieve my goal?

Here you can find an example: Esercizio Excel - Dati.xlsx

Thank you in advance.
