Hi All,

I am a but stuck trying to work out this formula. I want to a formula to return the row numbers in a list that are not blank. so for example. from B2 to B102 is the list rows 3, 10 and 20 have values in them. I want to have a string something like 3, 10, 20

Can anyone advise how I can do this?

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

If you have the TEXTJOIN function then try
Excel Formula:
=TEXTJOIN(", ",1,IF(B2:B102="","",ROW(B2:B102)))

Hi Peter, Thank you for your response, Thought there must be something simple but my brain could not work it out. I kept over thinking the solution.

In regards to my signature yup it is still current but I did update it with my work computers information where it is that I do most of my programming for. Sometimes I will do some of the programming on my home computer and sometimes at work depending when I get time. Thank you so much for your help.

It wasn't your signature I was talking about (but I did miss seeing that. )
That is because now we prefer and look for that information not in a signature but in your account details which shows the information here:

If you would update your account details as outlined above that would help.

Also, if you have multiple versions, in future please specify in your opening post of a thread if any suggestions need to work in particular versions.
