Returning the sum to a single row

Hi i have a sheet that contains 4 columns: Trans id, Trans #, Line Sale Amount and Total Amount.

How can I write a formula that will validate that if there are rows with the same trans id # then sum the Line cell amount range and assign the result ONLY to the FIRST cell in the total amount column that it finds with the trans id #.

Below is an image of how the data should appear in column d aka Total Amount. Thanks!
