Hello all, Hope you are all looking forward to a Happy Thanksgiving.

Let's get into it,,,

In a spreadsheet there is 1 column with customer codes. Any and all customer codes show more than one row af data.

Row4 is where the filter buttons are. In cell A5 and below are all customer codes. When filtering down to a specific customer I would like to see that customer code show up in cell A3.

Anyone got any tricks up their sleeves?

Any help would be great.
Bob

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
How about
Excel Formula:
=TAKE(FILTER(A5:A100,BYROW(A5:A100,LAMBDA(br,SUBTOTAL(3,br)))=1),1)
