Hello,
I have 2 formulas to calculate the settlement amount for 2 durations:
  • First 5 years (1/2 months' wage)
  • 5+ years (1 month wage)
I want to stop the calculation at 5 years as the maximum no. of years in cell B10. =IF(B5<1,0,IF(OR(B5>=1,B5<5),(B7/2)*B5))
The number that's visible now is $35,095.89 but it should be $25,000.00. I don't have an issue with B11 =IF((B5>5),(B5-5)*B7)

Excel cap date.jpg

Thanks,
Alaa

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
How about
Excel Formula:
=IF(B5<1,0,(B7/2)*MIN(5,B5))
