Hi

I created a formula to calculate sales by multiple items by month by year. My file was saved in csv format and I lost everything.

I cannot find the website I saw this one. But it was something like this

Sumproduct(list of items = cell the item name,(month=list of invoice dates)=cell with month)*(year=list of invoice dates)=cell with year)*(amount column)

Eg

Iterms date of invoive Amount
Ihw 10/15/21 $100.00
Ilw 11/02/21 $ 85.00

I hope this makes sense

Thank you in advance

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
