Hi,

I'm never really used excel,
I'm more of a programmer myself, but at the company i work at they use excel alot.
Now i'm searching for a way to simplify something small.
We have a list of customers that bought stuff.
Next to the name is the value they spended.
This for each prodect they bought.
They are nicly ordered.
When we have our next customer there is an empty line where we calculate the total of the customer spended value.
Now what i'm searching for is an easy code i can just past on top,
copy down and it will only calculate the total value on the empty line.

Something like,
If cell left is empty, select name (3 left 1 up) and then calculate value of all.

Is this possible?
Ifso can someone help me the right direction?

Kind regards,
Kristof;

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Why don't you use a pivot table?
As i said i never really used excel before.
Its excel 2003.
Never heard of Pivot table before,
And the values come from the administrator to us without the calculated price.

We just need to calculate the total to have a price balance on the end of the week.
