I think the reason why this book is really so great is that it is appealing to Excel users at all levels:

BEGINNERS: This book has TONS of pictures and examples to really help you digest what is being discussed. It is written in such a digestable format that it makes it easy to understand the concepts.

ADVANCED: Excel has so many wonderful things hiding inside of it! There were MANY occasions I was saying to myself, "I didn't know I could do it THAT way!" From keyboard shortcuts to formula tweaks, the book really has it all.

In general this book was really designed and catered toward the reader. Whether you are brand new and starting to learn or you want to sharpen your skills, this book will do it for you.

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Possibly a Dumb question, but which Book/CD are we talking about here ?

Oh well... No claims for brilliance...
Even if the forum is not called the Full title of the book/CD .... Which I own.

Santeria,

A while ago, each product (CD and book) had its own forum... that's what is causing your confusion now... this post was in the 'MrExcel on EXCEL' forum... so, that's the book that this posts refers to.

Thanks.
I Bought MR EXCEL ON EXCEL also, and it's Brilliant as well. It's a Handbook for what I do each day now, as well as the 1600 VBA examples CD, and Guerilla Data Analysis as well.

Thanks for the Courteous response.
