turn tables sideways, not landscape, in ms word

hi all, i am re-writing some procedure documents and the existing version is in landscape layout. our new templates are all in portrait and because of the way they have been set up the headers don't stretch. so, i thought i would turn the existing tables sideways but can't find a way to do that without snipping them as images. any suggestions?
