I am hoping someone can help. I have a query that I want a specific item displayed, in a column. THen I need the dame FIELD added with a different but specific time displayed. How can you make this happen since it reads left to right and stops at the first criteria? Help!

Welcome to the Board!

I am finding your question a bit confusing. Perhaps it will be a bit more clear if you can post a small example of your data, and show us exactly what you want.

Yes, I am trying to get Access to give me information for more than one item number (like the excel example), however, in Access I cannot get the program to show me information for more than one item number. It will not give information after the first item number – I am assuming this has something to do with the program reading left to right. I am also new to Access so please excuse me I am learning. Can you help?

What I want from Access:

In that query you are asking for records where the same field has two different values on the same record in the same table. Unless you're using a multi value field in the table, I'd say that would be impossible. You're trying to make Access perform like a spreadsheet, which it is not. You might be able to get what you need by using a subquery in the rightmost field but that might be a long shot. You can read up on them here and see what you think.

Can you please clarify what you are trying to achieve? Perhaps you could show the starting data values, and also the desired/final values -- mock up an example if necessary.
Access and Excel are different products - different purposes, different object models...
