Using a number in a cell to reflect the cell number in another formula

If any one can help please

I want to type a number one cell , then use a formula in another cell to use this number

so formula would be =c15:c52, the 15 is fixed but the 52 could be anything from 16 to 534 I want to use the number in the other cell to be number on the second formula so I type this and the formula picks this up

Replace C52 with INDIRECT("C"&A1) where A1 contains the row value
Be aware that INDIRECT is a volatile function ( if you don't use it many times on the same sheet it won't slow down)

Another non-volatile option is

=C2:INDEX(C:C,C1)

where C1 contains the number.
