I did something wrong here and VBA editor code view window no longer shows automatically, need always hit F7 to show.
I tried even to restore office installation (2019, quick and online), but even this also didn't work.
The problem does not occur with Word VBA editor.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Do you mean the Project Explorer is Hidden if so then use the View Menu and tap Project Explorer, also do the same for Properties Window.

No, Code view window is not show automatically, I need to press F7 or go Show - Code menu.
The editor does not save this setting after close/reopen excel.

  • Open the VBE and select Tools, Options
  • Select the Docking tab and make sure the View window has no checkmark in that tab
