VBA- How to split text to second dimension of an array

I wonder if is there a syntax for spilling out a split function among the second dimension of an array:

VBA Code:
Redim myArr(i, 1)
myArr(i, 0) = Split("A,B", ",")

I expect the text will be spilled as myArr(i, 0)=A and myArr(i, 1)=B since the dimension lengths was predefined.

I think that part of the problem is that the variable copules is dimensioned as an array of Strings, but that Split returns an array not a String.
If Couples is dimensioned as Variant, the second element of its rows can take the value of Split.
