I am really new to VBA, please excuse me if this is an obvious no.

Wondering if there is a way to write code that will protect/unprotect the workbook but allow for renaming. I am currently using the below. As the code states, the workbook is a template that will be saved down with different names. Current plan is to update this file with needed data, protect workbook, & then save down as new file with location's name. Is this possible to work around?

Private Sub CommandButton6_Click()
Workbooks("Budget Template - Working 8.7").Protect "test123"
End Sub

Private Sub CommandButton7_Click()
Workbooks("Budget Template - Working 8.7").Unprotect "test123"
End Sub
