VBA Using Data validation with a custom function

Hi,

I read this post :

Data Validation - Custom function VBA

But it doesn't work if, instead of hitting the enter key to validate, i select another cell.

Do you know a workaround ?

Not sure I see the benefit of using ribbon validation feature in conjunction with a udf. You don't say what result you want, but what about something like this in the change event for the sheet?:

If Not IsEmpty(Target) Then
  Application.EnableEvents = False
  If Not Target Mod 2 = 0 Then
    MsgBox "Value is not valid"
    Target.Value = ""
  End If
End If
Application.EnableEvents = True
End Sub
