What Function to Use?

Hi All,

I have been sitting at my desk for over 2 hours working with different functions to get the end result. Can someone help me understand what function would do this and how to write it.

I have 1 spreadsheet that contains 2 tabs; Users and Sites. I am wanting to =IF Users.Site_Number = Sites.Site_ID, return the corresponding value from Sites.Site_Name into Users.Location_Name

Sites- Site ID (Col A), Site Name (Col B)
Users - Site Number (Col D), Location Name (Col E)

I know this is probably something simple and I appreciate anyone's help.

Does a specific site ID always use the same site name? If so use vlookup in the location name column.

Hi David28. Thanks for the response. Yes, the Site ID always uses the same site name. I did try VLookUp but must not be doing it right. Any assistance with VLOOKUP would be helpful.
