many times I need to change a reference of a range, but when I place my cursor in the "refers to" input box and try to move around with arrow keys, Home, or End it starts jumping around the range OR if i try to do a Ctrl A, it effects the worksheet and not the input box. it seems my only option is delete the name reference and start over..

there must be an easier way. what is the secret to working with these "refers to" input box's. hope i make sense

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Once you enter the cursor into the refers to box, press F2
