Is there a way to identify what specifically triggers a Workbook_SheetChange event? For example was it a clear contents of a cell (delete key), edit a cell, cut/paste (i.e. move) a cell, etc.

Not that I know of.
It just knows something was changed. It can tell you what sheet, what cell, and what the new value is (and you can even code it to show you the previous value).
But I don't think it can tell what key stroke/action was taken that did that.
