I downloaded the xl2bb and was able to add it to my excel. However, when I go to the to the xl2bb tab and then click on any of the tabs in there (Mr.Excel Message Board or Help), they do nothing and the mini-sheet/table buttons are grayed out. There are also no boxes to check as it shows in the directions on site. At first it would not load because it was in protective view so I've gone in to the settings disabled that, redownloaded and opened again but am still having the same issue. Here is a snip of what comes up. Any suggestions?

The add-in file contains macros. Your Excel application doesn't enable the macros in this add-in. Excel workbooks/add-ins downloaded from the Internet which contain macros should be marked as safe or saved in a trusted location in order to execute macros inside.
