XLOOKUP Return Value to be Included in Same XLOOKUP Formula

Hello,

I would like to create a formula that includes Xlookup and then, based off of what is returned, finish the formula with that data, along with data from other cells. I'm not certain how to even begin writing this formula though.

An example would be:

=XLOOKUP(A2,Table1[Setup],Table1[Time],0),IF(B2>C2,(B2-C2)*1440)+datafromxlookup),(1-C2+B2)*1440)+datafromxlookup))

What does the lookup result have to do with the beginning of the formula? Can you explain exactly the process you want the formula to achieve? How does the lookup result determine what you do with it?

Something like this crosses my mind:

=IF( XLOOKUP RESULT = xxx, do this with XLOOKUP RESULT, or do this with XLOOKUP RESULT )
