I am trying to mark a thread as solved and can't figure out how to do so. When I go to my posts and open the post up and go to tools I don't see the option to "mark as solved" I only see an option to unsubscribe. Can someone assist me on how to do this properly to meet board rules? I don't want to post a new thread while keeping the old one open

We don't mark threads Solved here - someone may come along with a better/alternative solution later. All you need to do is say thanks to whomever helped you. :)

Oh ok thanks. Just so I don't break the rules I will ask this question. If I have still been unsuccessful in having an issue resolved can I post a new thread with more detailed information and a new example or am I restricted to staying within the original post. The reason I ask this is it seems the ole posts don't get looked as I becomes old quickly and new info sometimes listed way into thread. What is the proper way to handle this and conform to the rules?

If it's the same question, you should stick within that thread really, especially if people have been replying.
