Formatting Time

Hi

I have a function that returns a time duration of, for example, 00:21:00 that represents the amount of time taken to complete
a task in hours, minutes and seconds.

If I assign this value to a textbox on a userform using the format of 'hh:nn:ss' it displays as '12:21:00 AM' BUT if I assign the value to a cell and then use the value in the cell to populate the textbox using the 'hh:nn:ss' format I get a displayed value of '00:21:00' which is exactly what I require.

I can do the latter but I cannot work out how to get the display I require without having to use the worksheet.

Does anybody have any idea on this one?

Not sure if this will help (VBA is not my strong side), but time is numeric, so maybe try using the TEXT function to get it to show how you want?
=text(your-time,"hh:mm:ss")
