Trouble sending mail from excel sheet

I ran a program which fills relevant sheets with data. However when I then go to send the mail out using the mail button in excell, the program crashes. Excel is able to send out a mail no problem if its a new book which i havent copied information into. What seems to occur is the saveing bar on the bottom left fills to about half way slowly and then the program crashes.
