If I have a vlookup function and it returns #N/A, How would i need to rewrite the function to make "" appear instead of #N/A, I know I need to use IF, but I can't get it to work out.

J5 =VLOOKUP(H5,'CASS Data'!$D$598:$I$614,2,FALSE)

That is the vlookup I am using.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
J5=If(isna(VLOOKUP(H5,'CASS Data'!$D$598:$I$614,2,FALSE)),"",VLOOKUP(H5,'CASS Data'!$D$598:$I$614,2,FALSE))
