I've been having a hard time with this formula for some time now, and am having troubles communicating my problem properly. So I will start from scratch and tell you what I want to happen.

I need a formula to look up a specific part # and report (from a .TXT file report) how many of that part # are left to build. The formula will search for the part number, subtract the appropriate cells (lets say D5-G5) from the same line as the part # and return that value. I also want the formula to report a 0 in the worksheet cell if the part number CANNOT be found in the .TXT file. The .TXT file contains text and numerical data. I was using vlookup before, but am getting #VALUE! when the part # is not found.
THANKS GUYS!!!!!
