Hello,

Is there such a combination, at all!? Can I use Excel file with VBA code on it somehow on Linux OS?

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Firstly, I have no practical knowledge of this (ie I've never tried it) but I believe some versions of Excel will work under WINE (the last time I checked the latest was xl97 though) and then I assume VBA within xl97 would then function (although I doubt that it would work if you attempt to make calls to external dlls or database calls etc). So pretty limited.

OpenOffice does of course work perfectly well under Linux and I believe OO support for VBA is increasing, so maybe that's an option?
