    IF N17 CONTENTS IS A NUMBER, I WANT TO
    DISPLAY 'LBS 'IN O17. THIS IS FOR A SHIPPER
    N17 BEING THE PRODUCT WEIGHT. IF N17(WHICH CONTAINS A FORMULA OF WEIGHT CALCULATION FOR PRODUCT SHIPPED)DISPLAY BLANK I WOULD LIKE
    NOTHING DISPLAYED IN O17

    O17:
    =IF(LEN(N17)=0,"",N17)

    This is much better
    =IF(ISNUMBER(N17),N17,"")
    Hi there Hawk and smozgur:
    Smorguz, I believe you had earlier posted

    =if(N17>0,"LBS","") ... which worked fine for numeric entry

    I believe you now want to replace it with

    =IF(AND(ISNUMBER(N17),N17>0),"LBS","")

    to take care of any defiant text entry
