I am trying to use an Excel spreadsheet to conduct a data mapping excercise. I have a list of companies and products and I want to provide a way to map them to a central list of companies and products.

Column A contains the companies to be mapped.

Column B has Data Validation set to allow a drop down box of the central companies to map to.

Column C has the product for the company in Column A

In Column D, I want to have a drop down box which lists only those Central Products that relate to the company selected in Column B.

Does anyone know of a way to set up Column D to allow this?

Thanks,

Simon

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
