What are the Excel Visual Basic command(s)I should use to Shell out to a DOS batch program? "Shell" doesn't seem to work.

Mark, I appreciate your continued help. If you check it out when you go home and find Environ("OS") is different for Windows 2000, please post another message.

Thank you,

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
No, Windows 2000 definitely returns "Windows_NT".

It's WinME I've got at home. For WinME:

1. Use "Command"
2. Environ("OS") = ""
