Percentage Formula??

I am a new user of Excel and need help constructing a formula. I am completely lost. Here is the problem:

In column 1, I need to add a percentage to a number, add the result to another number in column 2 and a grand total in column 3.
Example:
250 X 10% + column 2 = column 3
I hope this makes sense...

enter the following formula in your column 3 cell:

=250*0.1+column2_value
