The winning numbers are: 01 04 07 10

My numbers are: 02 09 10 08
10 05 08 01 etc.

I want Excel to highlight the cell that each winning number is in.

thanks...

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney

Lets say that the winning numbers are in A1:D1 and your numbers are in row 3 fron A3 on.

Select all of your own numbers.
Activate Format|Conditional Formatting.
Select Formula Is for Condition 1.
Enter as formula:

=COUNTIF($A$1:$D$1,A3)>0

Activate Format.
Select color from the Patterns tab.
Activate OK, OK.
