Hello,

I'm wondering can you use sumif so that excel sum's a group of values with the conditional that your range is not equal to a certain value? I want to sum all values in column B based on the numbers in column A that are all not equal to 5.

is this possible?

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.

Hello,

Do you mean like this?

=SUMIF(A1:A5,"<>5",B1:B5)

where
A1:A5 and B1:B5 = 1 to 5

Giving an answer of 10.
