A colleague has created a lovely Visio table created from text boxes in columns and rows .... and now wants to be able to filter and sort it!

It is possible to copy and paste an individual Visio shape into Excel a shape / cell at a time, but there are hundreds of them and I don't have all day. If you select more than one Visio object and copy and paste it only pastes as an image (Bitmap etc) which you can't do anything with.

Is there a method of pasting multiple Visio text boxes into separate Excel cells? I am not worried about the formatting etc, just populating separate cells with the contents of each Visio text box.

Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
