Avarage

Hello All,

I know this is going to be simple but i can not work out an average of the following

B3 = C4
C3 = D4
D3 = D4
E3 = D4
F3 = C3

The standard formula for working out averages is giving me an error because i believe its because i have letters in my cells.

Is there any one who can help.

B3 = C4*1
C3 = D4*1
D3 = D4*1
E3 = D4*1
F3 = C3*1

Are you not skipping people who are not familiar with the grade system of your country?

That's the thing the grades have no numeric values
