Hi all,

I am struggling, possibly overthinking of how to get excel to do what I need it to do!

Below is what I'm working on for our zero hour workers, this is a sum total of hours worked across a period of months, I am then using the 12.07% rule to calculate their entitlement and then this is where I get stuck!

So the leading number is hours of entitlement but the value post decimal is a fraction. How do I convert this to show the amount in hours & minutes that means something? E.g 62.22 should be as 62hrs 13mins but then I would like to round it up to the next nearest quarter so 62.15.

I've gotten it all wrapped up in my brain that I can no longer look at it logically 😩 any and all help appreciated please 😌

In short, divide your answer by 24 then format the result cells to the format: [hh]:mm or [h]:mm

The CEILING part is rounding the result up to the nearest 00:15
