How can I figure out what is in column A of sheet 2 that doesn't exist in column A of sheet 1.

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Hi patty1234567,

Put this formula in a blank cell...

=VLOOKUP(Sheet2!A1,Sheet1!A:A,1,FALSE)

...and copy it down the number of rows that there are in column A of Sheet2. Any entries not in column A of Sheet1 will return a #N/A.

Regards,

Robert
