I have a pivot table linked to an Access Query. Until today it was working, the data would refresh OK.

Today I tried to refresh and got the error message:
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Too Few Parameters. Expected 1.

The pivot table will not update and I cannot figure out what this error is, why it is happening now and how to get rid of it.

I have tried to recreat the pivot table in a brand new spreadsheet, linking to the database all over again and got the same error.

I have made changes to the data in Access, but not to the query. When I run the query in Access it works, no errors.

If you can help me fix this error I appreciate it in advance.

I am running Excel 2003 and Access 2003 on Windows XP.

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
What is the query. Usually this is due to a typo or other syntax error (such as mis-using a table alias or getting a parameter confused). True, you are reporting that the query hasn't changed - nevertheless, this is where I'd start looking.

I went back in to the query to verify...one of the department users had tried to add/change some fields on her own which was causing the error. Once I restored the query to its original state everything started working again.
