Hi,
I have been looking at the automatic scaling properties of charts in Excel and based on this article - How Excel Calculates Automatic Chart Axis Limits - Peltier Tech Blog - plus my own testing, I have found that the automatic ranges are set to:
The maximum value is Ymax + (Ymax - Ymin)/20
The minimum value is Ymin - (Ymax - Ymin)/2 (not 20)
I have an Excel file and screenshot with an example but I'm not sure how to add them on a post. If there is a way could you please let me know and I can upload them.
My question based on that is: is it possible to change the minimum value formula to Ymin - (Ymax - Ymin)/20 which makes my graphs look much nicer with a lot let white space at the bottom?
Thanks
