In the list of files, File Explorer shows Excel files with a "x". With just xlsm files there is also a small square.
I do not think the files are corrupt.
If I save the files as Xlsb there is no small square.
If I save a new blank file as xlsm. the files shows x with the small square.

I noticed this at 3 am I hope that it not just because I had no sleep!

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Hello. Do your icons look like those below?
Blue circle is macro enabled (.xlsm) file
Green circle is a normal Excel (.xlsx) file

I've not done anything customized; this is right out of the box Windows File Explorer. Do those match yours?

Thank you akmatz and RoryA

Yes They look like the Blue since they are xlsm files.

The only information that I could find was that the small square indicated a corrupted file but I don't believe my files are corrupted.
