Hi, I need help with a formula to select only a range in between dates that the user can chose from. for example, i have a huge data base (from the year 2000 to 2015) and i wish to see a graph only from the year 2014. I need a formula to identify the range between the dates and select only this information to create a graph.

how can i do this? thanks!!

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Hi and welcome to the MrExcel Message Board.

Have you tried using AutoFilter? If you insert a chart that uses the entire data range you can use autofilter to restrict the range. It restricts the data view and the chart range.
