Help Scaling X-axis needed.

I'm currently recording a macro to to read a .txt file apply, then a function will be applied to the data and then graph it. However excel's x-axis scaling isn't as friendly to use as it appears. I need my data to begin being read at 100 centimeters but I only want the x axis to show spacing every 500 centimeters. I do not want 100 centimeters to be labeled on my x axis just 500,1000,1500,2000, and 2500 centimeters. Does anyone know of a solution to my dilemma?
