I Can No Longer Copy Worksheets Between Open Workbooks

I am using Excel 2003 with Win XP Pro. Many times I have copied worksheets from one workbook to another by right-clicking on the tab etc. However, all of a sudden, it's no longer possible. When I try to copy a worksheet from one workbook to another open workbook, the drop down destination list does not include the other open workbooks.

How can I correct this problem?

Thanks.

It might be that you are opening a new instance of Excel for each file that opens. Are you opening the files from shortcuts by chance?

Sorry for the long delay but I've been out of the country. To open files, I simply double-click on each file name. This used to open the various files in the same instance of Excel but now it opens them in separate instances. Somehow, a setting has changed somewhere.
