Hi;

Is there a way to define the print quality of a sheet, with VBA codes? To save the toner ...

I've tried to use the pagesetup.printquality but i couldn't understand what is explained at the related help file.

It should depend on the drivers that the printer is using but, may be via some API calls we can define the quality (without showing the pagesetup dialog box)

Thx anyway....

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
On my Laserjet I have only two print qualities, 300 and 600 dpi. The code to set it is:

ActiveSheet.PageSetup.PrintQuality = 300
ActiveSheet.PageSetup.PrintQuality = 600

The best way to find out how to set it for your printer is to use the Macro recorder while doing it manually.

Thank you Andrew,

I should have tried that but may be i've requested a resolution different then 300 dpi so that the code ended with an error.

Thank you so much, regards from Turkey.
