How do you scale two percentages proportionally to sum to 100% For instance, if I have 85% and 4%, how do I adjust those
so that they are 94.5% and 5.5% but whatever is actually correct?

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Hi there,

It's the number divided by the sum of all numbers:

85 / (85+4) = 95.506%
4 / (85+4) = 4.494%
