Stack Bar Chart with a total

Is it possible to show a total in the following type of chart. The total needs to be at the right of each stacked bar.

I can see references for showing a total for column charts (you use a combo with a line for the total that is hidden other than the lable) but when the same is applied to a bar chart, is shows 2 axis's and a line moving across the chart from left to right.

You can add a zero size series to the right of the chart, then use its data labels and link the values to cells that have the totals in?
