Hi all,

I have decided its time to become more efficient at my analytics and this will be my first of many questions!

I have a data set where the B column consists of a bunch of merged cells

These merged cells then have corresponding data for every seperate month in the C column, so 1 of the B-column cells has multiple C column values.

I want to create a formula on a new sheet where I first check for the B column value and then one of the C column values and produce the E column value (which is the value I actually need)

This is so that I can flip this horizontal awkward data set into a vertical, easier to read data set.

If you need anymore info I am glad to help, any tips on how to embed an actual spreadsheet example would help too!

thanks a lot in advance!

Alex
