Hello,

Who can help me with this problem.
I have a table with two columns "No Ageing failures" "Ageing failures", the table is related to a component and it has a standard table for each separated component.

I have questions that can only answered by yes or no and to answer these questions the table information can be shifted.

Example: Component sprocket
Question: End of designlife ? NO/YES
NO: the failures corrosion and fatigue are now shifting to the column "No Ageing failure"
YES: remain standing column "ageing failure"

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
What is the solution you seek?

btw, I lol'd at "Ageing failures". Plenty of those around free-excel-forums :D

Can you upload an example? I (personally) don't have a clue what you are trying to achieve. What do you mean by 'move data'?

Why can't you have:

Component Ageing Failure
Sprocket No
Another1 Yes
